About Human Expenditure Program
Human Expenditure Program (also called Bloodmoney 2) is a psychological horror visual novel developed by Shroomychrist. On the surface, it looks like a quirky virtual pet simulator, but beneath the lighthearted exterior lies a much darker story.
In the game, players take control of Harvey Harvington, treating him as if he were a real pet. You can feed him, play with him, and interact with him in various ways. But Harvey isn’t just a program — he remembers, he reacts, and your past actions will shape both his wellbeing and the story itself.
The game explores heavy themes like guilt, responsibility, and morality. Every interaction influences Harvey’s memory and determines whether you can truly keep control over him… or whether your choices will catch up with you.
Gameplay
In Human Expenditure Program, you play from the perspective of Eun-Mi, Harvey’s wife, who has full control over his life inside the program. Gameplay is a mix of virtual pet simulation and visual novel storytelling, where every choice you make has weight.
